I am trying to use Sonicwall Global VPN Client ver 4.0.0.830 on my Vista Home Premium system. I can't get the client to make a complete connection. I hangs on "Acquiring IP". If I turn off Windows Live OneCare Firewall it works perfect. I've checked all the boxes in ports and protocols, I've allowed the program. I'm a SonicWALL partner and sorry to say that any current version of the Global VPN client will not work with Vista. SonicWALL development is working on a beta version that is not due to release until April/May timeframe. Maybe March if we are lucky. Believe me, I feed your pain.
